Ron Scalzo started Bald Freak Music in 2005.

After fronting the electro-rock project Q*Ball for a decade, Ron went solo — traveling around the world to write and record three albums with the help of musicians from Brooklyn to Berlin. Ron is also the singer in alternative rock trio Return To Earth and electronic rock duo Hipster Slaves.

Ron hosts and produces two podcasts about fellow creatives, Independent Minded and The Joy of Bob Ross and mixes NPR Music’s long-running radio program Jazz Night In America.

Ron’s music has been featured on MTV, Adult Swim, in WWE promos, Red Bull extreme sports videos, and most famously (?) in the Christmas episode of “Clone High USA.”
